Established in 1870, Old Forester was the first bourbon sold in bottles, all others were in barrels.  I wanted to try the "Statesmen" edition, but reviews said this was a more well balanced and enjoyable drink, and they weren't wrong.  Nice caramel flavors with a little spice and nice oak finish.  A must try bourbon.
